Epson HX-20 serial port pinout
Wednesday, May 13th, 2009Here is the pinout for the RS232 port on the HX-20. I will be making one of these cables tonight so that I can transfer programs from my PC to the HX-20.
1 – Signal Ground (SG)
2 – Transmit Data (TXD)
3 – Receive Data (RXD)
4 – Request to send (RTS)
5 – Clear to Send (CTS)
6 – Data Set Ready (DSR)
7 – Data Terminal Ready (DTR)
8 – No Connect (NC)

I received this fantasic little machine today. Billed as the first portable notebook.
Its powered by a Motorola-esque Hitachi 6301 processor running a 0.614MHz with 15K of RAM and 32K of ROM.
Came with the micro cassette tape drive and printer. Printer ribbon still has some ink left in it.

Additions – 2 * Acorn RISC PC600s
Saturday, May 2nd, 2009I received 2 Acorn RISC PC 600s yesterday. Both are fully working. One has a 610ARM and the other a 710. Also, one is a dual slice. Both run RISC OS 3.5
Didnt come with any podules, but do have the podule riser cards.
