Blanka playing Street Figher 2 as Blanka
1This has to be one of my favorite photos from Revival so far. One of the Cosplay entrants came as Blanka from Street Fighter 2.
Here he is playing as Blanka on The Centre for Computing History’s Super Famicom.
Cambridge move for Suffolk computing history museum
0A museum documenting developments in computing over the past 50 years is to move to Cambridge.
The Centre for Computing History is to relocate to the city from its base in Haverhill, Suffolk, and could be open by the summer.
The charity has been looking for new premises for two years.
Director Jason Fitzpatrick said: “It’s important to be in Cambridge because of the city’s history and the part it has played in the home computing era.”

SEGA of Japan Launch Range of Console-Themed Laptops
2Hot off the press – SEGA of Japan Launch Range of Console-Themed Laptops.
SEGA of Japan have teamed up with ebten to launch a range of SEGA NOTE PCs. The laptops are themed around 3 SEGA consoles with an additional SEGA-themed laptop. The 3 consoles are Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast which you can see in the above image.
As the laptops are Japan exclusive they will probably be very expensive to import.

8 bit chip tune from one line of code on Linux
0
I stumbled across this great tune today that is created by one line of code!
Just copy any paste the code below into a text file, make it executable and run it.
echo "main(i){for(i=0;;i++)putchar(((i*(i>>8|i>>9)&46&i>>8))^(i&i>>13|i>>6));}" | gcc -x c - && ./a.out | aplay
Many thanks to Martin Holec for creating the code, and Rob Kendrick for linking to it on Google+.
Enjoy!
