Wanted

I do have most of the machines I’ve ever wanted – but there are a few that I dont have yet. They are…

  • Acorn Atom
  • Amstrad CPC664
  • Grundy / Newbury New Brain
  • Jupiter Ace
  • Sinclair ZX80
  • Camputers Lynx
  • Sam Coupe
  • Apple ][ card for A LCIII etc

I use a LG Flatron Wide M208WA LCD monitor as my display. It has VGA, DVI, Component, SCART, S-Video, Composite and RF inputs so any machine i’ve got can run off this screen. SCART in RGB mode is fantastic.

And my more ‘Modern’ machines…

  • HTC Desire on O2 with Android OS 2.3 (CyanogenMod) Gingerbread.
  • Microsoft Xbox
  • Microsoft Xbox 360
  • PlayStation 2 with Hard disk and LAN interface.
  • Nintendo DS Lite in Black
  • Nintendo Wii + Wii Fit.
  • Apple MacBook Pro 13″ running Lion with a 2.66Ghz CPU and 8GB RAM. Also 1TB time capsule and 1TB lacie hard disk.
  • Apple iPad 32GB WiFi
  • Apple TV 2
  • The VIC-20 PC (Currently running Windows XP with a selection of emulators)
  • The Nintendo NAS server (Currently offline)

I use a Teac BX-330 amplifier with a pair or cheap speakers for the sound system complete with a Ion Profile Pro USB turntable.

in nov ’84 my daughter(age 4)and i found a macintosh computer at the newspaper recycle bins of tamalpias high school in mill valley ca.it was a prototype with a 5.25″disk drive.with it was a box of parts, motherboards keyboards and a 3.5″disk drive.they were pencil numbered #36 and#37.people often leave trash at recycle centers, this time parts of a then 8 mo old macintosh.we thought someone working for apple ,living in mill valley, dumped it.i was able to trade it (not working)for things that got a working c-64 for our family.
